Africa Heritage Festival will be held at Yoyogi Park on June 20 and 21
The Event Plaza and outdoor stage are listed as venues, with food, bazaar, live performance, parade, and workshop programs also announced.
Africa Heritage Festival in Yoyogi Park 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Yoyogi Park. The Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association's June event notice lists the hours as 11:00 to 19:00 on June 20 and 11:00 to 18:30 on June 21, with the Event Plaza and outdoor stage as venues.
GO TOKYO, Tokyo's official travel guide, lists the venue as Yoyogi Park Outdoor Stage at 2-3 Jinnan, Shibuya City, and describes a food court with African and other cuisines, a bazaar, live performances, a parade with a float shaped like the African continent, a djembe drum experience, a quiz, and a stamp rally. It also lists free admission, with food and some programs handled separately.
Jamaica Festival is also listed along Keyaki Namiki on the same two days, so the Event Plaza, outdoor stage, and nearby park routes may be lively throughout the weekend. Check the official festival site, GO TOKYO, and the park's June event notice before going.
