Tomigaya Letterpress will hold kids letterpress workshops in August

Children will print a small poster and cards with special inks. The Tomigaya studio sessions are August 15 and 29, with four places each.

Tomigaya Letterpress will hold a summer letterpress workshop for elementary and junior high school students at its Tomigaya studio on Saturday, August 15 and Saturday, August 29, 2026. The operator announced the local sessions on July 11 as part of its summer printing program.

Participants will use fluorescent, metallic, and other special inks to print a small poster and cards. Each workshop runs from 15:00 to 16:30, lasts about 90 minutes, and has four places. The fee is 2,200 yen per child.

Advance booking through the ticket page is required, and walk-ins are not accepted. Elementary school children must attend with one guardian per child. Participants should wear clothes that may get ink on them, and long hair must be tied back. The workshop takes place in the separate studio at 2-20-2 Tomigaya, Shibuya-ku, not in the cafe building. Check the official notice and ticket page for availability before applying.
