Summer radio exercises around Tomigaya and Yoyogi-Hachiman start from July 20
All six nearby venues begin at 6:30 a.m., but their opening and closing dates differ.
Shibuya City has published its summer 2026 radio exercise schedule. Around Tomigaya, Yoyogi-Hachiman, and Yoyogi-Uehara, the first sessions begin at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, July 20, at Yoyogi Fukamachi Mini Park and Yoyogi Hachimangu Shrine.
Four more nearby venues start at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21: Tomigaya Elementary School, Uehara Elementary School, the Hakuju Institute for Health Science head office, and Tokai University's Shibuya campus. Yoyogi Hachimangu runs through July 26, while the other five locations continue through July 30.
Yoyogi Park also has year-round radio exercises from 6:30 to 6:40 a.m. The city's list is current as of July 3 and asks visitors to check neighborhood association noticeboards for the latest information, so confirm local updates before heading out.
